A series of concentric circles of varying heights, made of wire mesh, are connected to each other alternately by large plastic tubes. From the outermost entrance one must reach the innermost circle, where a golden stone represents the goal/reward of the search. To find the next passage, one must scour the circle, sometimes stepping over one of the tubes. Visually, the semi-opaque circles overlap each other, creating a gradual play of transparencies.
If children play chasing each other, they may happen to find themselves very close but unable to touch each other. Through the layers of the net each one senses and glimpses, more or less, the other, thus increasing competition and the thrill of the chase.
